Kickboxing

For ages 4 years and over. This is where you learn the art of Kickboxing in a relaxed and fun session. These classes teach you the techniques to be able to fight. Here we teach the principles of Kickboxing and follow a grading syllabus that takes you step by step to an internationally recognized black belt by the World Kickboxing Association and International Combat Organisation.

Working with a partner, you use the tools of a martial artist to hone your skills on the kick pads & focus mitts. There is also a  full grading system sanctioned under the WKA and ICO covering from our youngest cubs through to our adults. With the main focus on skill and technical knowledge it allows for those who can use traditional patterns alongside sparring to attain their black belts.

Also the WKA black belt is a highly respected award that our students are able to grade for, this is where fitness. fight knowledge and an intense grading pushes students to reach goals they wouldn’t have thought to achieve.

Headed by Dave Sawyer, Dynamic Martial Arts has seen great success with students winning golds, silvers and bronzes at World Championships along with New Zealand and International title belts.

The WKA was founded in USA in 1976 and is the largest kickboxing association worldwide.

Fight Fit Cardio

FIGHT FIT CARDIO

These session is where you can push yourself to the max. Fast exercises done at short intervals with brief rests.

HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING. (HIIT) has become a popular way to burn more fat. It’s a training method that has been effective for many people. Working like a fight, the principles of HIIT is an intense workout.

FIGHT FIT Cardio is a session where you work the pads and bags like professional fighters.  This is a great way to get a sweat up and burn those calories.  In this session you will be working hand and feet combinations, working all the big muscles along with giving your abs a great work out.

Here you will be working in rounds, pushing hard to your level.

You also get to punch and kick out all those frustrations on our heavy bags….You will always feel better after that!
